A knowledge-driven organisation
At Venus Engineering Works we pride ourselves on being a knowledge-driven organisation, constantly challenging the status quo and asking the tough question: how can we serve our customer better?
Technical Research
A lot of technical research happens inside our organisation in close proximity to academia.
Currently, we are working on the following problem statements:
- How to counter the extreme erosion occurring in the three-way valves and manifold valves used in the digestion area of alumina plants.
- How to counter the extreme erosion occurring in the lift check valves just above the pump system in red mud filtration.
- To create metal seated triple offset valves at such a price point that they can be near to the inline butterfly valves.
Management & Innovation Related Research
The promoters of the organisation are very actively involved with the entrepreneurship and start-up ecosystem across India.
Mr Anay Mashruwala has worked closely with institutions of eminence including the Center for Design Research at Stanford University, Judge Business School at Cambridge University, Keio University and Yokohama University in Japan, IIT Mandi, IIM Ahmedabad, EDII and Nirma University, to name a few.
He is currently Head Coach at the Innovation and Incubation Centre at Pandit Deendayal Energy University, where he spends one day a week engaging with start-ups.
Do you have a specific problem related to valves where you need research assistance?
We have an in-house R&D centre and strong tie-ups with research institutions.
